I can't believe no one on this board has mentioned the Captain Midnight incident. I find it funny how this guy showed his discontent in a much more effective manner than the characters this movie is based on.
I fail to see any connection whatsoever between a guy who resorts to espionage and the selling of top secret information to foreign countries because he thinks what the CIA is doing is wrong, and a guy who disrupts the broadcast of a cable movie channel because he's upset over their plans to scramble their signal so that people with a satellite dish can't just watch it for free.
I can't believe that you thought that the Christopher Boyce situation would somehow make people think of a guy who got upset over the fact that he was going to have to start paying to watch HBO.
I wonder if this Captain Midnight guy chose this movie to jam because he thought his actions had some connection to the events depicted in the movie? Or was it just a random movie.
Yeah -- me! That is why I posted it. I didn't understand what I was watching at the time. I just thought someone at the satelitte company screwed up and started showing the wrong thing.
