Yep, it's perfect timing, because I'll be in Inverness in August, so I plan on making the trek out to Edinburgh. Look forward to your performance, I loved the film. I know the writer of the film so I'm sort of reporting back to him since he thinks he's going to be unable to make it.
shareA friend of mine was auditioned for the China Blue part when this was made into a West End theatre production, and decided not to go any further because she decided that it was a bit dodgy... she was apparently unaware at the time that it had been a mainstream film with Kathleen Turner, but there you are...
Incidentally, I remember hearing that this film was originally based on a play from the Weimar Republic (possibly by Brecht), except that I can't find the original title. Does anyone have any ideas?
