it yesterday, on a French movie channel, for the first time and although the movie has some good points, esp some of the dialogues, what really lets it down is that no explanation is given as to why kathleen turner becomes china blue at night and then the last shot, where she jumps on the reverand. probably the best shot is when she is with the cop.

Becoming a hooker at night allowed her to release whatever inner turmoils she was having. Something obviously happened in her past that caused her to want to be used and only thought of as a sexual device. Remember when her boss says, "If you have a penis, she turns to ice". Some women go home and hate men, some go out and let men use them.
