Great film -- what happened to the heroin kingpin?

Did the Brother kill him?

I really liked being able to see the culture in Haarlem. And I loved it that the main character could not speak.

I'm pretty sure he died of an overdose from the coke the Brother made him take. I really like this movie.

I always assumed The Brother smothered the drug kingpin. You see him take the bag and put it to the camera lens (showing the kingpin's POV), which suggested to me covered his face with the bag and smothered him. Seemed like poetic justice, in a way, for a drug dealer to be killed using his own product.

I'd say that it is safe to assume that whatever happened, he ain't breathing no more.

That was one of the strangest sequences. It felt so out of place in a hearwarming movie like this. I think he smothered him but it´s left open to your interpretation.
