Here's yet another unsung low-budget 80's horror gem that's currently MIA on DVD and long out of print on VHS. A nice quality DVD of this effectively perverse and creepy vampire sleeper is clearly in order here.

I have the movie on VHS and didn't think it was on DVD, but I found it on Netflix as part of a package deal with other movies. The quality is probably poor, but I'm pretty sure it's the same movie. Here's the amazon link:

The link ThrownMuse provided is correct, and "The Black Room" is one of four movies on this disc set. "The Giant Spider Invasion" was the main reason I purchased this disc set, but "The Black Room" turned out to be the real treat. It has a very southern California feel to it, and it is a gem of a horror movie. The quality is decent, and I can't complain.
