It has been several years since I have seen this movie, but if I remember correctly, after helping steal the blackmail material from Kirsch's office, Terry and Edie run into the elevator and Edie is not seen again. Does anyone know what happened to her. Do any of the deleted scenes explain this?

I have the Special Edition DVD and while the deleted scenes and commentary really don't ellaborate on Edie, we are left to believe that when both Terry and Edie escape Kirch's office that she is left unharmed. If she was killed we would've seen that before the movie ended.
