I saw this when it came out and imagine seeing those pits on the BIG SCREEN. I think it was meant to shock and it did.

Considering that this was an American movie and the vast majority of American women shave their armpits, that scene was strange. Not sure why they would include that. It was just plain bizarre.

Check out Jeff Bridges' facial expressions in that scene. He looks perturbed too. The Encore channels are playing the movie a lot this month.

I knew before that women have under arm hair and it didn't shock me at all to see it. In fact I liked it. Kind of stylish.
