Why couldn't they have cast Robert Mitchum in the Widmark role? I really wanted to see him and Greer again. Maybe he was doing that War and Remembrance thing when this was being filmed. BTW, I thought Jane was hotter at 60 than Rachel at 27 but did they have to give her gray hair?

I totally agree. I mean, I love Widmark, but that was really Mitchum's role, especially since Jane played "mother" Wyler. Also, I wish that her role was bigger and especially Paul Valentine's (Joe Stephanos from Out of the past"), he didn't even say a word.

She was a pretty lady, but Rachel Ward is her equal . . . at least.
