Holy cow! Jeff Bridges is so hot in this show! I wish his shirt was off and his pants slightly undone in the whole show (just after the love scene in the ruins). I never even liked JB until this movie - well, I take that back. The "Last Picture Show" was pretty fantastic. Happy trails to you...

I agree,around that time it was very stylish for big stars to get ripped,think Stallone,Travolta. I was extremely impressed with his results.

I have to give him a ton of credit, he really put the work in to look like a believable pro athlete. Shame he let it slide after that, I assume it was due to how much effort it took along with not wanting it to cost him roles.

I actually liked How to Lose...but I am a Simon Pegg fan. Plus I thought it would be complete rubbish when it was in fact only half to 2/3 rubbish.

Got to meet Jeff once at a hollywood awards show. He was with his mom. I introduced myself and said he was my first teenage crush! He said Oh really??? then grabbed me an hugged the hell out of me. As I am about 20 years younger than him at the time he loved my compliment... never forget it. He was so super nice and happy go lucky guy. He appears to be really close to his mom at that time.
