shareIt is not only on DVD but comes with deleted scenes that explain Buckaroo's background a bit better.
Why settle for the lesser of two evils? Vote Cthulhu!
Which region is that? The R4 version has no such features

Oh and let's not forget to mention those mysterious 'Nuon' enhancements nobody seems to be able to tell us about! (The Nuon machines came out for a very short period around the time the movie originally came out, and the DVD is supposed to have some kind of features only available via such a DVD player. I have yet to see anyone say what they actually are, though.)
The Region 1 disc is SUCH a must-have for BB fans, though. Chockful of great features and a nice widescreen transfer of the film!

If only there was some sort of tool, or service, that would allow womeone that kind of information at their fingertips. Like a search engine that allows someone to earch a world wide database of information.

You can get it from Netflix. I've seen this movie at least 35 times, this is the first time on DVD. The extras on the disk include a commentary track the maintains the theme that the story is actually a docu-drama and the story and characters are REAL and actually provide insights to the actors, provide artifacts from the actual events to be used in the filming, as well as telling the outcomes that differ from the story-line. Very cool. Also a extended version that shows Buckaroo's parents (mom is played by Jamie Lee Curtis) Check it out.

They maintain the "docu-drama" angle.
