Buckaroo Banzai TV Series
Apparently they tried to get together an animated series at one point, to be called Buckaroo Banzai: Ancient Secrets & New Mysteries. An animated trailer was produced to show executives the kind of action they could expect to see on the show, but nothing ever came of it.
Very sad, because I want to see this!... especially the 3rd bit with the space shuttle.
