I hate the lizard baby!

When I first saw it when I was a kid it scared me so bad, I couldn't sleep the whole night. The next day at sxhool a kid asked me if I watched V last night. I told him, yes, but that lizard baby was scary! He didn't say anything, and it didn't seem to bother him.

Did anybody else get traumatized by the green lizard baby as a kid? The human baby with the lizard tongue scared me too, but not nearly as bad as the creepy, green lizard baby.

The whole V series just gave me a creepy, scared feeling while watching it.

Yep, scared the crap out of me! Brings back so many memories, it was shown after bed time, but I would sneak downstairs to watch it on my own afterwards, during the summer holidays back in 84, when we had a massive cherry tree in the garden that also scared me cuz it showed up as shadows through my bedroom window, and the theme music, damn!

This is why I prefer The Final Battle, it's just alot darker in tone and was genuinely frightening at the time.

I agree Ceephax that theme song for this series was excellent . It had a very John Carpenter feel to it . Thanks for mentioning it .

I just got through watching this scene of the reptile baby's birth etc. ( on the ENCORE Channel ) . When I first watched it years ago ( when this series was brand new ) it freaked me out at first but then I totally felt sorry for it especially after it was dying and passed away . Thanks jessehendershott for your subject post .

I know, it didn't ask to be born and nothing that happened was its fault. So yeah, I felt sorry for it too.

I totally agree here brunhilda2013 actually all three were victims -
the young mother that was tricked by one of the " Alien Visitors " ,
the lizard baby that passed on ,
and the baby that lived ( also being used for her special powers later on too ) .

This mini series definitely had it's sorrowful moments
that I remembered well
yet was a very well done overall series for it's time too -
quite effective and great character development as well IMPO   .

I only wish it would be shown on TV again soon  .
