Question about the Maxwells

Hello Everyone!

I was hoping you could tell me what happened to Robin Maxwell's sisters & Robert Maxwell's two younger daughters, when the television series started. It was confusing because those girls were in the mini-series, and I don't remember them being killed off. Robert, who had become a single parent himself, was on a farm with Robin and Elizabeth, but then Robin left--for some reason.

Maybe, I just missed an episode, since I started re-watching the old series on fancast.com. It has been a little choppy. If anyone knows the answer though, I really would appreciate your answer.

it was never explained what happened to polly or katie. they were never mentioned at all in the tv mini series. their father, robert, died in an early episode of the tv mini series (i think it was called liberation day).

Yeah, Robert retired to a farm with Robin. I don't know what happened to his other daughters. They were just written out of the series. And Robert was killed in the pilot, maybe because Michael Durrell didn't want to do the series.

AFAIK, the series didn't have a really good budget, so my guess is they cut as many people as they could from the previous series.

I really liked the Maxwells, and I hate when Robert was killed off and when Robin left the show.
