eating habits
So - why don't the mice (rats or whatever else) ever bleed when they get a bite taken out of them?

shareHeh, no sh*t, thats TV for ya - and family friendly 80's television on top of that. Also, whats up with how much the visitors eat? Every episode focuses on at least four or five over-played-out scenes of the visitors eating something disgusting. As often as Dianna is eating one would think she would be weighing in at at least 300 lbs. Every other scene she's eating something... or a visitor is eating something...or a visitor is licking their lips practically shaking in anticipation of eating something. The way the visitors eat reminds me of the way crackheads smoke crack.
shareTry watching "Doctor Who" made in 1984 - plenty of blood and gore abound... :)
Oh, wait, that's UK family television, not US family television... :D
LOL, re: "300 pounds", as each "rat" was a piece of chocolate shaped like a mouse...
Still, she was smokin' hot in the TV episode where she's walking to the communications center with that purple top and black tights, and the hair while it still looked good (and not the style she adopted later on that looked like a ginormous frizzy nightmare that would have terrified even Freddy Krueger...)
You are so right! That never occurred to me. I love it when they eat things, it's hilarious.
shareI never thought of that til now, and I loved both films of the 80's, the originial mini-series and V-TFB. I guess the reason why I never thought about it was because I was around 12 yrs of age and was shocked to see something like that-period. I heard they used some kinda of Chocolate covering that looks like the rodent, but as for the inside I don't know. I was just grossed out buy the guniea pig thing in the mini-series. I could tell that was fake, how they made Diana's head, streaching out to swallow it. There eating habits will make you cringe; but give Kenneth Johnson credit. I have never seen aliens eat rodents so it was definitely something new.
