Were they really going to kill off Julie if the show got a second season? I know Faye Grant got cast in Singin' in the Rain on Broadway in 1985, so I am wondering if she wanted to leave or if they wrote her out for another reason.
Actually, I wish they would have. I really liked her character and Faye Grant as an actress...and her character was an important one.
The benefits of her being vaporized would have been twofold: More of a sense of reality, which would up the suspense factor for remaining main players. The shock factor makes for good TV. Seeing her vaporized would certainly be shocking.
I understand the idea that in war no one is untouchable, but I would've been disappointed had they killed of Julie. Especially if she was vaporized because it would just be the same thing that happened to Elias.
I didn't know. Don't ask me where I heard this, but I though Michael and Faye were excited about a Second Season because supposidly Ham and Julie would start to develop a romantic relationship, seeing is she and Mike really grew apart romantically over the course of the series.
