Can the Casseticons survive without Soundwave?

It seems that Soundwave had a strong conection with his cassette partners and they always seemed very loyal to him like in the animated movie.When they helped him fight the Constructicons for the Decepticon leadership.But if Soundwave were to be killed would his cassettes survive without him?

Yes, but they prefer having him around.

I assume they could since in that King Arthur episode Rumble went with them alone to get energy.

So do they have some kind of symbiotic relationship? like when they go back inside him they get recharged.

Probably. I mean they can likely get energy themselves but they probably get the full charge with Soundwave. Of course that's all speculation on my part, lol.
