I know he had a gun mode as well as his cannon mode in the comics and in his toy form.But I don't recall him transforming into a gun in the cartoon.Did the writers choose to not present him as a triple changer?

shareI think in the original show he only changed into that weird canon thing, but I think I recall him being able to transform into a big plane type thing in TRANSFOREMRS: HEADMASTERS. I have no idea what to call the things he changes into.
