I always thought the marvel comic version of Headmasters was better than the cartoon episode The Rebirth.I think had the writers of the cartoon had used the comic book storyline the show wouldn't have been canceled.
So it's treason then!
THe Headmasters in the comic were far superior to the ones depicted in the cartoon, but in all fairness Transformers had (by that time)run its course. If bringing back Optimus Prime couldn't return fan interest to the series I really don't know wat could have.

Could have been worse it could have been that crap they produced in Japan and called it Transformers.
I hated the japanese Headmasters series for two big reasons.....
1/ Daniel & Wheelie.What on Earth were they thinking of making these to crap characters the main basis ogf the show.These two whined and cried through out the entire series.
2/ Turning Cyclonus & Scourge into bumbling clumsey comedy characters.

I can see where you two are coming from in regards to wheelie, daniel and cyclonus and scourge, but personally I prefer the Japanese version of Headmasters.
