Wonder where Starscream went after he got a new body
Last we see him he's tumbling out of control in space. Perhaps he just hides from the Decepticons since he's no longer welcome or knows Galvatron would destroy him.

Maybe the comics have an answer.

G1 Starcream returned on the Beast Wars series which is set many centurys after the events of season 3.Somehow he ended back on ancient Earth minus a body and back as a ghost.How he ended up in Earths past wasn't really revealed or how he ended up without a body.Maybe Galvatron tracked him down at some point and killed him again.My guess is that he went through a Quintison time portal or a temporal wormhole and ended up in Earths past where he encounted Beast Wars Megatron and his Predacons.
If you are not familiar with the Beast Wars series I would certainly recomend it as it has lots of G1 refrances.
Plus, during the time "before" Starscream gets killed again (long before Beast Wars), he could go back to being a scientist. He and Skyfire were scientists just before the war according to the episode Fire in the Sky.
It makes me wonder why doesn't he simply join the Autobots if Galvatron wants him destroyed.

I always assumed that when the Decepticons shot him after getting his new body, they had killed him again.
The irony of finally getting his body back, then immediately being killed once more was something very fitting of Starscream.
if you watch the scene again, Galvatron does indeed hit him with his Fusion Cannon. It couldve easily killed him.
