Im a little curious if any G1 fans like Transformers Prime.I was a little unsure at first but after watching the first season I was hooked.I kind if like how they add things from G1 continuty such as The Wreckers and the Scraplets.

It looked good at first, but then it got too boring for me. I'm also not very happy with how they treat the (robot) characters in the show, especially Starscream and Optimus.

Yes it had a period of episodes that were not that good but over time the show vastly improved especialy in season 2.

Sorry, but I have to disagree with you there. We're already getting into the 3rd Season, and we know little to nothing about the humans and Autobots. I also thought that Season 2 was a BIG missed opportunity for new and interesting plot elements, which sadly got tossed aside, never to be mentioned again. Then you've got that grating soundtrack that only plays the main theme, over and over, it drives me crazy!

I havent seen Beast Hunters yet(but hope to soon) but there was a Transformers cartoon in the mid 90s called Beast Wars that heavily refrenced the G1 cartoon.

Oh yeah, I've seen the first 6 episodes on YouTube. It's really enjoyable so far. :)

Never could get into Beast Wars primarily due to the voice acting I heard on it. What can I say, G1 really spoiled me.
Prime is a pretty decent show in that it updates the story and keeps the focus on a selection few Autobots and Decepticons rather than trying to introduce us to a new character each week. I wish it weren't a CG show as I prefer the old school 2D animation but I'm good with it other way.

I don't know if you're referring to me or SuperCore but, yes, I do like "Transformers: Animated" (it's actually my favorite show in the TF franchise ^-^).

Beast Wars seasons 2 and 3 were excellent, as a G1 fan. They were heavily tied to the series and added to the canon in really cool ways. It really felt like a true continuation of G1. If anyone is a fan of G1 and never saw Beast Wars, I highly recommend watching it and just skipping Season 1. I think it got better after season 1 because they brought in Simon Furman, who was the main writer of many Marvel Transformers comics and he brought with him the ambition to connect the continuity to G1 and make the series more coherent and dramatic. And it worked!
