why is Wheelie considered the most annoying character?

Ive recently just finished watching season 3 and 4 (which are really good IMO) and I don't see why Wheelie is considered this really annoying character. Hes hardly even in it! Plus he got a legit kill in the form of a Sweep. Yes, he killed a fooking Sweep! He's certainly not a coward and don't forget he survived on Quintessa for all those years.

Yeah hes got a speech impediment but hes a child for god sake, give him a break! Blurr was much more annoying! God would that guy just STFU!

I taught you everything you know, but not everything I know.

Wheelie didn't annoy me as much as he did a lot of other people but he was a bit of a step down from Bumblebee who he sort of stole the spotlight from in Season 3, I think the squeaky voice and his constant speaking in rhyme is what some people don't like about him, I think the writers in Season 3 were a little bit obsessed with character that spoke in rhyme constantly, like Blaster did unlike in Season 2 and the Eurythmans in "Carnage in C-Minor".

Wheelie was the Jar Jar Binks of the Autobots.

the Rhyming wears on you real quick
high pitched voice gets old fast
he replaced Bumble Bee

and BB has essentially become the Star Now; he was the lead of the new RiD series, with Prime relegated to 'ObiWan' (from what I saw of the first 5 episodes
-- which would imply there was some following back then that the new films tapped into

Yes he was for me. I think I would have rather listened to someone scratch fingernails across a chalkboard instead of listening to him.

No. That was the Micromachines guy, and he was awesome.

Can't stop the signal.

I think it's kind of ironic that both Wheelie and Blurr, probably the more annoying characters were sent to retrieve Metroplex's changing cog in Five Faces of Darkness! lol
