Did anyone else find this episode haunting? Perhaps for me, I spent similar holidays alone, or tasked with a job nobody else wanted.
Anyway, this will always be a memorable episode for me.
If anyone knows how to watch this on Netflix, or Hulu, please let me know. I would love to see it again, and see if it makes the same impact 26 years later.

I watched it last night, certainly not your typical Christmas show, but very memorable. Joe Penny got to flex his acting muscles a bit, and the ending was satisfying without being cheesy. I don't know if it's on netflix or anything, but amazon had the dvd set for a reasonable price.
shareDVR'd it on getTV and it is,a powerful story. First one I ever saw. As a Vietnam combat veteran, with five sons, I pray they will never have to take up arms for our country!
