open door,broken heart pt 2

i was watching the episode and i noticed where henry is talking to punky and telling her he's worried sbout her because she's not eating or sleeping. i hear someone cough like it was in the background as if being filmed in front of a live audience and a little kid coughed twice. did anyone else notice this. if so let me know i'm not alone. i thought may be they could edit that, but i guess not. i'm just happy season 3 is out now after 1 year and a half wait between this and season 2. hopefully we won't have to wait as long for season 4.

I have others... Desperate Housewives, Star Trek Voyager but I'm more into my retro tv dvds.

Yes, I noticed the coughing as well. I also heard it in another season three episode but I don't remember which one offhand. It seems like season three combined a live audience with some track laughter. Seasons three and four were filmed at a different studio than one and two so it is quite possible for it be recorded in front of a live audience in the last two seasons.

I noticed various things like that too. I'm fairly certain that the show was not done in front of a live audience (but I could be wrong), so my guess is that they had the crew and others laugh at the jokes in order to help the actors "pause for audience reaction" between lines. I know that the mothers of the stars were always around, so there must have been quite a crowd behind the camera.
