I used to love Clarissa Exlains It All and thinking back some of Clarissa's oufits, from the first 2 seasons especially, looked like Clarissa had raided Punky's closet. Similar styles with bright colors/ clashing patterns and lots of layering.

I never got into Clarissa explains it all, so i never noticed that. one of my best friends loved Clarissa explains it all too, but i only saw a couple episodes at her house but dont remember it since i wasnt into it. But there was a show in the 90's called On Our Own about a bunch of siblings orphaned and living on their own. and there was a couple episodes of on our own that were the same episodes of Punky. Like the girls dressing up as boys for the remote control car race episode.

Nix that, researched it on my own. Confused On Your Own as a spinoff because the girl who played Michell'es friend Denise who replaced Teddy starred on the OYO.
