Opinions on the show

Yes. It's very good. It's kind of like "Annie" without all the singing. It's a very good show that deals with real issues. It's a better show than all the other ones out there today that teaches kids nothing.

shareit's good but it's not "Annie' Punky is out of the orphanage but the show sugar coats what life is like in the early 1980's for seniors raising kids who are not rich. Kinda the reverse different strokes. She is barely above poverty now and the audience is supposed to find this "cute and quirky'. Henry does not have a lot of money to give punky everything. Margo is one of her friends, here and in the cartoon and is rich, but she is stuck up and snobby. We are not supposed to want to be like her.
