Why doesn't Mulder and Scully visit Cabot Cove?

For the population there's an uncanny number of murders there. Seems like an X-file to me.

Because after Jessica killed everybody in Cabot Cove, she moved to New York.

They could get a whole extra 7 seasons out of her.

They should. I would love to see Angela Lansbury as a geriatric serial killer going on a murder spree in the Big Apple. A whole new interpretation of Arsenic and Old Lace.
