getting revived

First the pros: those new puppets are very well-done and I'm glad that Disney is still willing to make new Muppets material even after the last movie's mixed reaction and the AMC show lasting one season.

Con: I'm not going to jump to conclusions and immediately believe the writing will be terrible... but uhh, isn't this kind of unnecessary? The original lasted a long time, why not put up reruns instead (that is, if it's legally possible)? It was the only example of 'babyfication' that I recall working. Highly unlikely that sort of thing would happen again.

They need to try and get the original cast back. Frank Welker, Greg Berg, Laurie O'Brien, Katie Leigh, Russi Taylor, and Dave Coulier. I know Barbara Billingsley has passed away, so perhaps Nanny could be voiced by none other than Betty White!
