René and Gruber
I love their scenes together :-) One side of me kinda wanted René to be gay because Gruber was so in love with him. Awwww... :-)

In Season 4 (can't remember the episode), Region 1 anyway, there is a scene where Rene asks Gruber if he has dynamite in his trousers. Look closely....for about a split second there is a moment when Guy has to control his giggling. And the audience is howling with laughter at the scene. It's priceless, and probably the closest thing we'll ever get to outtakes.
I just saw that scene. I don't think he was about to laugh, but he does look a little taken back for a few seconds there. Another scene with them I love is when Hans and René are talking and right when Gruber walks in Hans says to René: "René, what would I do without you" and something more I can't remember and Gruber looks so sad :-) And then Von Strom comes and Gruber asks if he and Hans has fallen out and if it is over a girl and Von Strom says "No, not over a girl" and at the same time René is picking up the flowers on the table and smells them and Gruber looks from René to Hans and says "I see..." Funny scene

Edit: I just watched the scene on youtube. He's not laughing, he's trying to open the bottle.
Oh, and another thing: Does anyone know if there's an interview with Guy out there where he mention Gorden and their scenes???
OMG, I just watched the scene in season 7, epiaode 8 "Stuck"
Gruber: "If I can save anyone from the torture of marriage, I will"
René: "If only you had been around 25 years ago"
Gruber sighs and says: "If only I had..." and leaves. Soooo funny. And I had not seen that epiaode before :-)
Oh I ADORE them, I always found the scenes between them the funniest, & also, going against that, the most touching - I always feel so sad when Gruber gets a knockback, such as when he hears of Rene's various engagements, when he had to shoot him etc. Sometimes I think that Rene didn't appreciate all that Gruber did for him - all the times he tipped him off that he was in trouble, attempted to rescue him etc. Though I suppose Rene must have felt he had to be extra stand-offish in case Gruber got the wrong idea (which he often did anyway).
