I noticed on the flying bed episode that the unnamed "large woman", played by Jackie D. Broad, was in the DeGaullist resistance, when earlier she was in the Communist resistance. And that Denise La Roc was no longer the head of the Communists. I was just wondering how all this happened to come to be. Why the one resistance girl switched sides, and why La Roc was no longer the head of the Communist head.
shareI have been watching series 6 and have just seen the episode in question. I believe a 3rd resistance was created. A "Abbyville sub branch action devision" or whatever Luise says. A bit of it is unintelligible. I rewound it over and over and I can't tell if she says "A Abbyville sub branch action division" or "A little Abbyville sub branch action division."
EPISODE 608 (Last episode in 6th season/series)
In that episode, during the wedding, Rene goes back to the cafe when he hears their is a bomb in the cellar. Luise shows up brandishing a gun & says, "I am now in charge of the communist resistance. Abbyville sub branch action division. We heard of a threat to blow up your town and we have come to save you." Denise comes to Rene's cafe (before holding the German's hostage in the cellar with the fake 500 pd bomb) and tells Rene that she is now in charge of her own resistance. (A new 3rd resistance) I got the idea that she was promoted to start a new 3rd resistance by some resistance committee.
It's not really explained well from what I understand. I don't know of Denise is still doing her resistance or what. Maybe it was explained what happened to her in an earlier episode but I don't remember. I get confused by this show because they make their same schemes changing all the time and getting more complicated. A lot of people got confused which is why they had to ad Rene explaining what happened at the beginning of the show, of what happened in the previous episode.
