Was Helga really in love with Herr Flick or it was just an act?

I had the impression she was really attracted to him. he was after all an alpha male of sorts.

i saw it as an act. maybe later she developed feelings for him but i have no doubt that she wanted to rise up the ranks in some way and hanging around with him made her privy to a few details many others wouldn't, especially for a woman
