Von Smallhausen???? Really??? As much as a I love him, he's just plain creepy. I think he can be quiote dangerous actually. People shouldn't underestimate him because he's so small and has a limp. We all know that Herr Flick is a softie deep inside, but Von Smallhausen...?? I think he can be mean :-)

Von Smallhausen was definitely evil-er than Flick - remember when he forgot his key so he used dynamite to open the door to the Gestapo chambers?
And for the original question,
Attraction: definitely the German General who tries to shoot Rene when he's disguised as Hitler - like a two minute sequence in one episode - but he was the best-looking guy on the show. All two minutes of it!
Personality: I don't know. Carstairs, maybe.
