What happened to Michelle of the Resistance?

In the epilogue of the final episode of the series, we see that Edith has pretty much become her mother, Mimi is taking care of her, Gruber, now an art dealer, has married Helga (!), while Von Strom is their chauffeur. And Rene finally gets to 'run off' with his waitress Yvette with the Fallen Madonna with the Big Boobies.
But, the epilogue doesn't say what happened to Michelle of the Resistance. My theory is that she probably married Crabtree and went to England (remember that episode where they were having a little tryst and came to the window in their nightclothes?). But nothing is ever said about her and it would have been nice to include what happened to her in the finale'. It would have been funny that after all those years after the war she would still be saying "I'll say this only once...".
If anyone can clear up what happened to her, please let me know. It would be interesting to know.

I thought the last episode was pretty silly. No way could I imagine helga married to Gruber. or yvette still hanging around wAiting for renee to run off with her After what - 40 years wAs it supposed to be? i imagine crabtree went back to England and michelle went back to the post office.

Yes I imagine that it was meant to be the present day of 1992 at the end. Not just because that was the time of the last episode, but also because the Mercedes belonging to Gruber, Helga and the colonel looked very much like an early 1990s model. If this was the case (that it was 1992),then it would have been some 47 years after the war had finished. Given this fact, it is rather silly to think that Yvette would have waited all that time to run off with Rene. However, for me the most ridiculous thing is that Colonel Von Strohm would have to have been over 100 years old by then.

Who cares, Michelle was the least likable character IMHO and she never got her just deserts for all of her stealing and using people for her own end.
