And I don't mean Edith, though she's so bad it's hilarious. But Herr Flick's Gestapo dance, Edith's birthday cabaret for the Colonel, Hans & Helga's Bavarian dancing which is then copied by the Hitler Youth girls, the staged carnival cabaret where the airmen are two 'tits', Officer Crabtree singing 'Louise' at the General's party - there are so many fab musical bits.

Yes, I liked all of it, especially when Edith's mother sang while Edith, Rene and the rest of the cafe were in the British P.O.W. camp. My favorite part was when LeClerc played the piano really fast to end the song after all the patrons left because Fanny's singing was as bad as her daughter's singing.

I love Edith's "singing" (gawd!) - she so enjoys herself, while others around her are obviously in such physical and emotional pain.

Lt. Gruber's singing is very nice - he is, after all, a musical fellow!

The follies put on by the British prisoners is even enjoyable. Yes, I very much enjoyed the musical bits.

I was re-watching the series and have to add that I thoroughly loved Mimi Labonq (Sue Hodge)'s "Get Out and Get Under" song and dance in the episode "The Long-Distance Duck" (Chapter 3 - about 9:30)! It's fun to watch Sue, perfectly in character as Mimi, doing those high kicks &tc, and also check out her audience - Rene, Mr. Alphonse, and Yvette - for their reactions, haha! An outstanding moment, and well worthy of her fellow cast members' applause!

Oh, just came back to check this reference and I find I misreported it (sorry). It's Ep. 35, S05E08 ("Long Distance Duck"), 9:12, "Get Out And Get Under" Mimi Labonq - by Sue Hodge. Not sure why I said what I did (old age?) (LOL!)...
