This movie is HILARIOUS it rocks!!!!

I've seen
Monty Python's Life of Brian and The meaning of Life (I own this one)
and Yellowbeard is funnier than those two combined.
The whole Pirate thing is very interesting and the costumes and
setting, well done. Not to mention the grand sailing ships on the Ocean,
this movie is the bomb yo.

Monty Python crew + Marty Feldman + Madeline Kahn + Cheech and Chong,
how can you go wrong??? (freakin rhymes)

I partly agree.

Life of Brian and Holy Grail are both excellent films. You've gone over the top saying this is as funny as those two combined, but Yellowbeard is definitely on par with those two greats. One of my favorite comedies of all time (along with Brian and Grail).

The previously reviewer who compared it to Jabberwocky and Missionary is so very wrong. Those two movies were definitely below the bar of the above.

Don't forget the great Peter Cook - brilliant as always.
