Since the production company ceased business all these movies including this one have been languishing in the vaults. what a crying shame. Super little movie.
shareMany years ago I taped this movie onto VHS simply because I couldn't believe that was really a topless Marina Sirtis being viciously bull-whipped by Faye Dunaway.
While the movie was pretty awful, the catfight/whip-fight scene is truly a conversation piece.
I taped the ads as well and have just noticed Melina Kanakaredis from CSI New York advertising Maybelline products at that time.
I wonder if Marina had a double or stunt person for the scene because her boobs looked a lot bigger in Star Trek.
And it was even a PAL version, but the disc did rot and the end of eash side got extremely noisy...
Would love to buy this strange but lovely film on DVD ;-)

The Blu-ray keeps the original 1.85:1 transfer, or 16x9 in other words. You get English optional sub-titles and the trailer. A nice example of photography from the late great Jack Cardiff - OBE, BSC.
