Wargames 2: The Dead Code

A Young hacker has fallen in love with the sexy chess player at school and wants to to join her and the chess team in Canada, but he lacks the money for the trip

When a friend suggests "RIPLY" and the Dead Code game which allows to wager money after he discovers money he can use, the boy plays a simulated gas attack on Philidelphia

Little does he know that his greatness at the game and knowledge of advanced weapons (because of his mother who works for a chemical plant) has just gotten him noticed by the new Defense Department computer RIPLY.


Gone is Joshua, and is replaced by a modern computer programmed to offer would be and real terrorists, games to play. Once they get in deep, RIPLY invades their lives.

Now on the run in Canada, the boy and the girl must dodge both the police and RIPLY and gain an ally in a man most people assumed is dead, Steven Falcon, who will take them to the one... thing that might be able to stop RIPLY from innitiating a real attack when she discovers Philidelphia might actually have a terrorist playground.

WOPR has become a power station management system and they must awaken her system to take on the much more powerful RIPLY in a game of Russian Rullete for nuclear war.
