In the big ending scene, Julie and Randy escape the prom during a fight melee and jump in the waiting limo that Tommy had rented for the occasion and drive off in a big hurry - the limo being a stretched version of one of those miserable Chrysler LeBaron 4 cylinder front wheel drive variants of the K car (shudder).

At a red light, the limo they're in is now a Lincoln Town Car stretch. Nice upgrade on the fly! At least they're both silver. I wonder if the scene at the red light when the limo driver asks them if they're still going to the Sheraton was added in later.
