For some reason I remember a scene where Hackman gets a menu with black market items on it. Was there a picture of an aircraft carrier? If there was, this movie is tighter then first recalled.

No there wasn't any. Pictures did, however, include a missle, armoured personnel carrier, and such.

The illiterate's weapons menu was part of a cabaret scene, soon after they get to southeast Asia. After their purchased weapons were stolen by the USA.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.
