I'm sure some of the actors were cringing and embarrassed to be in such a dire pile of horse shit. Comical from start to finish, I couldn't stop laughing. The so called special effects had me rolling about too.
As a kid I liked the 4th one. Even as an adult I still find it entertaining. I didn't watch Superman 3 til I was 17 and I hated it. As a kid I refused to even rent it because of the picture on the VHS cover. Which is a picture of Superman carrying around some guy who has a silly look on his face. I didn't know who Richard Pryor was as a kid. If there is a guideline for how to not create a bad superhero movie, this movie is the answer. A movie where Superman is literally shoved to the side in favor of giving a famous comedian tons of screentime! And it's just terrible! Not enough Superman action but plenty of scenes of Richard Pryor acting like an unfunny and stupid fool!
Pryor was quite fond of the profanity in his stand-up routines, but I didn't mind his screentime here, it wasn't as much as you think. Besides, I quite like this movie, it was about computers.
Well I didn't like this movie at all. And no, not even the Clark Vs. Superman scene. Also Green Kryptonite even with a missing ingredient should kill him. Not make him go insane. I guess the writers of this movie didn't see the first movie.
