Tony's whole family disappeared!

In the first one, he, his mother, his father, his grandmother, and his sister lived in the house. Okay, so assume the grandmother and father passed away, but the little girl would barely be a teenager in this one. Plot hole?

Oh well, it was a crappy movie anyway

reply

No plot holes, it's very simply, it came down to budget and Stallone rewriting the script with the original screenwriter Norman Wexler. Stallone had a part for the father from Saturday Night Fever but the actor wanted to much money so they wrote him out, you do have a good point about know one being brought back from SNF, this really bothered me to and has been brought up on these boards, at least you got the mother back.

Tony being reunited with his mother was my favorite part of this movie. Glad to see she wasn't so high-strung and judgmental like she was in the first one

Julie Bovasso was such a fine actress and lady. Too bad her life got cut short at an early age.

I really liked her in the Paul Newman movie the Verdict.

I watched a radio interview on youtube where Tony Denison the actor who played Ray Luca on the Michael Mann television show Crime Story, mentioned her as his acting coach, and encouraged him to go to the audition for Crime Story.

Well just because they were not in the scene doesn't mean they still aren't in the house. Didn't Tony visit mom in the daytime? His sister would be in school.

pazuzu congratulations! you are now the new champion, of what has to be the all time dumbest posts on IMDB. The sister is in school, so you don't see her, so according to your moronic logic shes actually in the film.

reply

Boy, do you have a comprehension problem(and coupled with the unwarranted personal attacks that must be a magic combination). Saying that his sister perhaps is not in the house because she would be in school IS NOT SAYING SHE IS IN THE MOVIE!

They also cut out the Donna Pascow scene, what a shame. Should have also had the Puerto Rican gang turn out for the opener. 💥👏
