i would watch it, i remember watching YEARS go on show case, its such a great movie. they make it classy by not making it ALL about the fact she posed for playboy but showed more of what she was dealing with her scarry ass boyfriend Paul. i never seen it ALL the way threw, i saw it on tap last year some where, i should have baught it for like 3.99 ah well.
PUT IT ON DVD
This movie needs a re-release. The same old dvd from 1998 with pan & scan transfer (ripped from laserdisc) is still out there (although you can get an anamorphic version on region 4 from Australia). I emailed Criterion a while back, suggesting it for one of their future titles. One day (and that day may never come) this movie will get what it deserves. Remastering + extras. Criterion should step up!

..i say, rerelease in widescreen format, and throw some extras on the dvd as well. Would be interesting to see the original theatrical trailer for it.
I'd love to see it in widescreen, with trailers and a bio on Dorothy with some of her pictorials. The DVD that's out there is one of those first-edition DVDs that they just railroaded on the market when the technology was new.
shareYes there is a DVD I saw it in the waulbaums supermarket for like $7.00. Its just the movie, no deleted scenes or anything like that
shareThis is my second favorite film of all time! Keep bugging Criterion! This needs
to be widescreen with audio commentary by Roberts and Hemmingway!
I've been wanting a widescreen DVD for years.
shareRERELEASE IT IN A PROPER ANAMORPHIC WIDESCREEN VERSION!!!!
sharewith the real Hef talking about this tragedy?
shareI for one am grateful when a rare film makes it to dvd, widescreen, pan & scan, or otherwise. What happened to the days of VHS, when we were perfectly satisfied with getting the most important thing: The movie. There were no extras, and we were satisfied. I am satisfied with my dvd for this film; the picture quality is fine, and I am happy that this exists at all. Just my two cents.

This film is showing in high definition widescreen on HD Network this month. It looks terrific, way better than the old DVD release. And the movie really holds up. Eric Roberts is terrific in it!
shareFor whoever said we should be happy with any release--the thing is with Fosse especially his films are so visually oriented that every inch of the frame counts--maybe even more than with most directors.
I knwo this film was never gonna be too popular but it seems weird ALl That Jazz is getting a reissue already after it already had a great DVD in 2004 and not even a basic letterbox release for Star
