which is better - this one or the Jamie Lee Curtis one?

i've seen that one (Death of a Centerfold), but never saw this one, and was wondering if i should rent this one (Star 80) ????? which one is better? i'm obsessed w/ this tragic story.

Star 80 is definitely better than Death of a Centerfold.

Bob Fosse is one of the greatest filmmakers ever.

Hahaha.. funniest question I have ever read on IMDB.COM! The question is self explainatory. There is no contest... Star 80, hands down, is one of the finest movies of all time.

Jamie Lee Curtis is an amazing actress. But I really think Death of a Centerfold is way more watered down than Star 80. Of course, anything shown on TV would have to be. Star 80 is way better, in my opinion.

There is no comparison. STAR 80 is one of the most disturbing, powerfully sad films made by a major American studio, and is second only to Cabaret as Fosse's finest film. Death of a Centerfold is cheap exploitation of a tragedy for ratings gain.
