Chalmers!
Did Andrea Marcovicci not have some of the nicest legs! Pity she didn't last very long in the movie: ( Loved the night shirt!

shareHeh...She made me feel tingley when I was a kid!
Beware Trolls! I'm stomping across your bridge
Killing of a good character like that so early is just wrong.
shareThey should have killed off Niki in the beginning and kept that gorgeous Chalmers in the rest of the film !
shareOMG, Chalmers' legs are the stuff dreams are made of . If I were Wolff, I'd have taken them with me after she was "killed".
’Cause there’s thunder in your heart... Every move is like lightning!
yeah,it was a toss up for me between Linda Carter of Wonderwoman fame and Heather thomas of fall guy fame. Chalmers was a close third. Jesus, the early 80's turned me into a horny bastard for life.
shareWould have been a very short film with her to back Wolff up...
"We came, we rescued, we went home".
Plus, we'd never have met Washington.
Ernie Hudson is an absolute dude and a fantastic actor.
Was it me or did you get the vibe that Wolf was banging this fembot?
shareThat was the inferrence, yes.
However, there doesn't seem to be so much stigma attached to it that we ourselves have today. Washington proudly states that he intends to spend his reward money on a custom android... in fact, he's getting two - Twins!!
Besides, Chalmers is absolutely gorgeous.
I certainly would!!

For exactly what other reason would an otherwise completely lonely intergalactic garbage man choose a female android, and then for exactly what other reason would said garbage man choose to dress it in a barely-butt-cheek length nightshirt? For visual stimulation? Ha. They would still surely have the internet for that, right?
shareLegs to die for as they say... :)
Yeah I noticed that why kill off a main character so early in the film?
Indeed. Keep Chalmers and delete the annoying kid character, and this movie would have jumped two points on IMDB.
Wolff would have been a much happier man too.
Those legs .... :)
Were Chalmers still along for the ride, Wolff would never have become lonely enough to want the company of another annoying real thing.
shareWere she still along for the ride, they'd have found the Earth Girls, left Washington to rot and been home in time for tea and crumpets before the third act!
Actually, given how he neglects his ship in favour of sexual thrills, Wolff would likely have blown the whole reward on some more nightshirts and maybe even some fancy negligee for his gynoid girlie!

Hey, in the original release those legs were in 3d! I'm almost sure of it.
shareIt's a shame that Chalmers got killed off early in the film. Andrea Marcovicci brought a winningly spunky charm and aplomb to that character.
I am the Duke of IMDb bio writers! I am A#1!
I have to admit, when I was a kid I was really upset when she got killed off. :-) I can see why for plot reasons... but Andrea Marcovicci did look very attractive, especially when I was around 12/13. :-D
shareThe kind of legs you'd like to suck on for a day.
