Songs from Somewhere Tomorrow
Does anybody know if the songs from the movie were released on cassette or cd? I have the movie and love the songs and am looking for them.

shareThe songs featured in Somewhere Tomorrow WERE specifically recorded for the film with related film makers/actors involved i.e Whitney Kershaw 'You Brought Me To Loving'; Sarah Jessica Parker and Tom Shea 'Tell Me Why'; Sarah's solo 'Finding You'. Two of the songs 'Tell Me Why' and 'Finding You' were obviously sung live during the 'acting' scenes in the film.
This was a low budget film, but the script/acting made this a great film.
As far as I know the songs were NEVER released commercially on Record/Tape or CD, and were intended for the film only. Though 'the Official DVD release' from the co-makers of this film 'Media-Blasters' Region 1 (US) was released early last year (Don't get confused with the cheap quality picture-sound Walmart/Digi-view releases). So in effect the songs have been release commercially on DVD.
Also being made in 1983 on a low budget the sound was made in 'mono'.
This is one of my all time favourite movies. It has been screen here in the UK several times on the main TV channels.
