i'm almost positive he didn't die. news of death spreds like wildfire in hollywood.
i think i found him, well sorta. it looks like he is an author and went from movies to theatre which might be why its hard to find him online

Tom Shea gave a very solid and likable performance as Terry. It's an honest shame that he didn't go on to have a bigger acting career.

I am about a year too late but Tom Shea played Michael Fitzsimmons in "Peggy Sue Got Married" one of the best characters in the movie who eventually wrote a book and dedicated it Peggy Sue.

He's not dead. He doesn't seem to be acting anymore, but he was in the original Broadway cast of "Merrily We Roll Along" back in 1981 and he attends reunions with his old castmates from time to time.

Also pittstown nj.the house scenes were filmed at neshanic station area airport was the real sky manor airfield.a friend of mine travis slaughter was the safety police officer that went around with the movie crew .he is also driving the police car in the opening scene with the lights and siren.the church is saint thomas Episcopal located in pittstown back in 82 reverend ann holt was in the movie as her self. anyone need any information about the filming just send me a message. thanks.
