That's an insult. This film is a CLASSIC all around in every sense of the word. 7.5 minimum rating IMHO.

Well, the film does somewhat deviate from the Bradbury novel from what I understand (I have not read it), so maybe book purists are the ones voting it down? Or maybe it is the younger generation who don't know how to view a film in the context of the era it is made, instead judging it for the lack of bright shiny CGI? Who knows. In any case, IMDb is so full of idiots that it is the LAST place I'd go to get a true gauge of how well received a film is. I don't worry about that the idiots who make up the majority of this websites traffic happen to vote on a film.

I gave it a 7/10. It is a good, imaginative movie with an interesting plot. However I think I would've enjoyed it more if I were younger.
