Has anyone seen the episode of Ray Bradbury Theater titled The Black Farris?
If I remember right, The Black Ferris was the original story that would later become SWTWC. The episode was made long after the film, and seems to be one of the least remembered episodes of the series, which is surprising, considering it's relation to SWTWC.
You are correct. "The Black Ferris" was a short story by Ray Bradbury that was first published in 1948. Bradbury then spun his own story into the novel "Something Wicked This Way Comes".

I had read that Bradbury wrote a full length script based off the original short story, though I'm not sure how true that is. If it is true, it would be an interesting read.
The Black Ferris has always been one of my favorite episodes from the series. The series in general doesn't get as much love as it should.
