i purchased the smokey and the bandit movie and also the pursuit pack in which if you watch them both closely you can tell there are edited, is there a way i can buy smokey and the bandit movies in which they are not edited?

I would guess that you can't find an unedited version on DVD at the moment. Are you talking about the first movie? What was edited?

Go back and buy the oldest VHS video releases you can find. They won't be edited from the original theatrical release. I'm surprised to hear the movies are edited a bit on DVD. I've got all 3 "Smokey" movies on video and I'd guarantee none are edited for content.
