Who feels this movie deserves a higher rating on IMDB?

Who feels that this movie deserves a higher rating on IMDB? I don't think it deserves a 3.1 out of 10 stars cause I thought the movie was watchable and it holds alot of nostalgia for me, I personally like this movie better than Smokey 2 due to it being a faster paced movie with more car chases and it was more of a lighthearted movie, I think that the movie deserves a 5.0-5.5 rating on IMDB.

i agree, this deserves a 5 at least.

Unfortunately, a lot of people have a tendency to rate movies 1 or 10, and that's clearly the problem here. I agree this deserves more than 3.1, but all I could muster for it was a 4.

It's a really fun movie. Sure there are tons of editing goofs, but it's not really bad. Lots of good car/stunt scenes, great music, and lots of laughs. At least Burt Reynolds appears in the movie. I think it should be at least a point or two higher.
