I've searched around the internet time and time again. I've been to several hundred "movie trailer sites" but I have yet to find the trailer to this wonderful film. Can anyone please help me here, and provide me a link to the trailer?

By the way, do any photos of "Smokey is the Bandit" exist on the internet? I'd really like to see Gleason as the bandit damnit! We should really start demanding a release of "Smokey is the Bandit". It sounds quite interesting, and I'm sure it's better than the final version. There's definitely some interest, just read some of the reviews at amazon. Let's get this baby released!

That's because the movie is so bad that no one wants to make a trailer out of it.

Since the movie was reshot with new scenes, I think that the studio had little or no confidence in this film when it was released and was hoping that there were enough hard core fans of the original and the first sequel to guarantee that the film would break even.

There is bound to be a trailer/ teaser and or tv spot out there somewhere, just wait and see that sometime someone is going to notice that they were taping something in 1983 and sure enough there will be at least a tv spot and it will make its way to Youtube just like everything else seems to these days, it is funny that it was the only movie on the Smokey Pursuit Pack not to have a trailer.
